    Kelli,
Yours was one of the podcasts I most looked forward to...I think I squealed when I saw there would be a new one, until I saw the title. Hope that you get as much joy from your work and practice as we all did from your podcast! Best of wishes!!!!

I'm so glad you are doing well in your chosen career. You will be missed! Thank you for making a decision and announcing your intention instead of just fading away.

I am so saddened to hear that this was the last episode of Unwound. I appreciate the fact that you made a decision and closed the podcast formally. However, you will be missed in the world of knitting, crochet, podcastings and of course all things fiber. I will cherish all the work you have put into the last 12 episodes again and again. Good luck in your future endevors.

Based upon the amount of joy and pride that you had in your podcast, I can only imagine what a difficult decision this must have been. I thoroughly enjoyed each and every one of your podcasts. Best of luck and continuing success in your career. And please, try to always find some time, no matter how little, to knit or crochet. It's good for the soul and will keep you sane! You'll be missed :(

While I completely respect your reasons, this is a huge loss to the knitting podcast community. You are very much respected by your peer podcaster and MUCH BELOVED by your listeners, as I'm sure you will be hearing as the word gets around. Come back when your practice is more settled (does that actually happen?) and revive your wonderful podcast. It should be a whole new world in a few years. Good luck!

    Kelli,

This is indeed sad. Yours was one of the podcasts that I was dearly looking forward to seeing and update after such a long break. I was saddened to see the title of the show....but well, every single one of us have our own priorities and your career is at the moment your highest priority. Even though it's sad to see you go, I'm glad you didn't just let your podcast fade away in nothingness, but instead you take a proper farewell from us, from your listeners.

I will reiterate what Andy B. said above: You are indeed very much beloved by your listeners.

I bid you farewell in high hope that one day, when everything settles down, you will pick up the microphone again and re-start your wonderful conversation with us. As for now, I wish you all the very best in your career! Good luck, and know that you will be sorely missed by your listeners!

I was so happy when I saw that you had a new podcast out - but sad when I realized what you meant by the title. You will definitely be missed - I really enjoyed it and looked forward to it. Good luck with your practice.

I'm so sorry to hear this will be the end of Unwound. I've throughly enjoyed your podcasts and I've learned so much.

I also know that doing a quality podcast such as Unwound has got to be a tremendous amount of work, and you do have to have your priorities in order.

Thanks so much for everything, and I hope that you will continue to keep up your blog to let us know what going on with your projects and you.

    Best wishes to you too.

    Kelli,

I'm so sad to see your podcast go! I have been one of your devoted listeners, and have loved hearing your voice and point of view in the fiber-arts world. Thank you for so much: all your work and time put into this podcast, your desire to make your show interactive (listening is great, but commenting makes it a community), and lastly being open with your listeners to let us know about the end of the 'cast. Closure is a good thing.

Another good thing is a flourishing career! So rather than end on a sad note, I send best wishes for a successful and satisfying law practice! You never know... Maybe you can get the Alabama legislature to write a statute stating that all members of the legal profession passing the Alabama Bar are entitled to half-hour fiber-arts breaks each work day? Okay, not too likely ;) but in any case: good luck in all your future endeavors both career and free-time!

I'm echoing everything that's been said already, but you should know how widely the sentiment is felt: your podcast was GREAT listening - so well planned, informative, entertaining. Your decision is perfectly understandable but also completely regrettable for your listeners! Best of luck with your developing career.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are ending your podcast, but I respect your decision to focus your energies. I've so enjoyed your efforts these past months and will miss time spent in your 'virtual' company. Thank you for wrapping things up with your usual grace and style and not leaving us hanging. And perhaps, someday, you'll find your way back. Good luck and much success to you.

I just opened iTunes today and was so excited to see a new episode! Ahhh, then so bummed to hear that your won't be continuing on. So, since I haven't done so already, I wanted to thank you for such an awesome podcast! I also make a podcast and have looked to yours for "quality podcast" inspiration. Thanks again.

We are going to miss you so much. You did such good research, and presented interesting topics. Your show was unique because you had a lot of different people providing input. And I will say that yours is the only podcast I listen to that I felt comfortable leaving a voice message at, because I knew you wouldn't have anything embarassing on the show. When my husband was in private practice as a physician, I don't think I saw him for about five years, so I know what you'll be going through in getting a law practice off the ground. Best wishes! And do take some time for yourself. You need that balance you were talking about.

Ah, this is a sad day! I'll miss Unwound. You really did a terrific job with it. But of course we understand how much time and hard work it takes to put out such a quality podcast. Maybe eventually you'll be able to find that time again? :-)

    Otsukare-sama desu!

    Hi Kelli,

I just listened to the final episode of Unwound. Very nice job!
Really, I think you wrapped everything up very well, and I think it
was a wise decision to formally make an official end to your podcast,
rather than let it fade away or continue doing it to a quality less
    than what you would prefer.

Frankly, I've always been amazed that you were able to produce such a
professional-sounding and thorough program on your own while
practicing law at the same time. I still haven't gotten to the point
yet where a job is anything more to me than an interruption to my
life, but I hope some day I too can have a job that I can love even if
it requires other sacrifices. As it is right now, I'm having "too many
hobbies" syndrome too; something always suffers, but I've become able
to let go of guilty feelings over it.

You have done a wonderful job, and it has been my great pleasure to
hear your friendly voice twice a month, and to receive your
encouraging emails. The title of this message is a Japanese phrase
that is often used among co-workers to congratulate each other on a
good day's work, but it is also used when someone completes a long and
challenging road or phase in life. I can't think of any words that
would be more perfect for me to say to you than those.

    Well done, Kelli!

Best wishes to you in your career and your future,
    Betsy

Although I absolutely understand not having time to do it all, I'm incredibly heartbroken I won't be able to listen to you anymore. I just found you about 2 months ago, and after listening to all your old podcasts, I was tentatively waiting for your next one. I'm a part-time teacher and mother of two little people, so if anyone knows how hard it is to find time for it all, that would be me. I would just like you to know that I found your podcast amazing and I'm so very sorry to see you go. Good luck with your practice and I can only hope that someday you'll find time to continue-you are one of the best podcasters!!!

I am so thankful for the 12 episodes you have done for us, and will keep them in my library to listen to when I need an audio fiber fix. Congratulations on doing such a great job. Take care! And if ever the opportunity arises to podcast again, know that you have a loyal community ready to listen.

Kelli, I also echo the above. The tremendous work you put into the podcast made it one of the most useful I listen to. Thank you for your work and for your formal good-bye. When podcasts I've enjoyed "fade away," I worry about my "friends" and what happened to them. I know you will be challenged and happy with your work. Happy Knitting!

I wish you all the best with your law practice. I will certainly miss your podcast. It was one of my favorites but I definitely know your time constraints. I began listening to you around the time I began to knit and crochet, right around episode one. Thank you for making my first forays into fiber easier.
